    Hi,

Yes it is possible. It is important, that custom recipes and posts should be “similar”.
Title and main content make posts and custom posts similar or you can use common categories, or even manually set relationships.

    Hi Bas!

We can reproduce this strange behavior with Chrome, but it seems that the problem is not in our plugin.
It is very interesting, because if you open Chrome console (ctrl + shift + j), and then reload the page while the console is opened, it is works perfectly!
However if you does not open Chrome console, at the time of page loading, but later open it, then the problem occurs again, and on the console Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_MISS error messages appears.
We have seen this error in forums, and most of the forums said it is a Chrome issue, and unfortunately we have not found any solution what we can do to resolve this problem behavior.
Trying it with FireFox, it works perfectly.

It can be important that product tab handling is part of WooCommerce, some WooCommerce JavaScripts display the tab content when you click on a tab. Our plugin does only the configuration of tabs, and WooCommerce displays it.
I suppose that, if would be a solution in WordPress and plugin side (and not in browser side), then it would concern the WooCommerce tab handling JavaScripts, so WooCommerce could made some changes.

Unfortunately at this moment we cold not solve this problem, because the problem is not in our plugin.
If you can not use the plugin because of this problem, please write a mail to info@webshoplogic.com to consult what would be the best option for you.

    Hi Sergi!

We would like to see the source code of this theme, but it is a commercial plugin, so it is not available.
Please send this theme to info@webshoplogic.com to enable us to check if this plugin disables 3rd party metaboxes on its own custom content types or not.

    Then we will delete it.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi,

Thanks for the information and screenshots.

We suppose that the the plugin or theme that ensures products and portfolio custom post types for you removes all 3rd party metabox from these admin pages. In this case our plugin create the manual relationship metabox, but it is removed. (It is only a assumption.)

What plugin or theme do you use that creates product and portfolio post types?
If this available for us, we can see whether it removes these metaboxes or not.

    Hello Sergi!

Please ensure that on the General tab of the product settings page in “Post types used by WRI” field Products and Portfolio checkboxes are checked (I suppose they are custom post types).

Please also ensure in “Screen Options” on Product and Portfolio edit pages (upper right corner) that “WRI Manual Relationships” checkbox is set.

If the two settings above is done, then “WRI Manual Relationships” metabox have to be displayed on Products and Portfolio edit pages, unless the 3rd party plugins that create these custom post types do not remove it.

    Hi,

I think I misunderstand your letter previously.

If I understand well, you would like to display the followings:
    – post->product (only manual relationships)
    – post->post (all kind of relationships)

So on post (article) pages you would like to display only the manually related products, and other automatically or manually related articles.

    It is right?

If so, then the solution is the following:
You can use threshold settings to achieve this goal.
In “General” tab of “WP Related Items (WRI) Settings” page you can find a “WRI Manual Relationships Weight” field. The default value is very high (100 points), it means that if you set related items manually, then the similarity value will be 100. This default value is right for your, please do not change this.
In case of default setting each other (automatic) relationships worth 1..3 points. (So it is less than the points of manual relationship)

You can set similarity thresholds individually for each page and inside of it for each related item types.

Please go to “Post page” tab on “WP Related Items (WRI) Settings” page, and set “Match threshold” value to 90 in the “Products” line, and set it to a low value (~1 – 3) in the “Posts” line.
This means that on Post pages only those related product will be displayed, whose similarity is larger than 90, and those posts, whose similarity is larger than 1 or 3.

Only manual relationships can get greater than 90 points so this settings ensures that only manually related products will be displayed, but in case of related posts it is possible to display automatically and manually related posts.

I hope this solution is right for you.

    Hi,

In the background of WP Related Items plugin YARPP ensures the similarity finding functionality. In this environment only bidirectional relationships can be handled, so if two items are related, then it is true in both direction.
Manual relationship handling is part of this functionality, thus manual relationship is also bidirectional.

Due to the above, unfortunately it is not possible what you would like.

If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Hi!

I see that Contact Form 7 (WPCF7) plugin generate your input fields with style=”width: 0px;”, that is why the fields are too narrow.
You can see it on the attached screenshot (goandweb1.png) and the html code below:
    <input type="text" name="your-name" value="" size="40" class="wpcf7-form-control wpcf7-text wpcf7-validates-as-required" aria-required="true" aria-invalid="false" placeholder="Nombre / Empresa *" style="width: 0px;">

We try the plugin and WPCF7 plugin on another site, and they work together perfectly (see the second attached screenshot – goandweb2.png).

We do not know what is the reason of Contact Form 7 generate 0 px wide fields on your site, but “width: 0px;” tag is definitely in Contact Form 7 line, so we suppose ask Contact Form 7 support about it.

    Some more ideas:

    • Please insert some other context before the form on the tab, because on Descripción tab contains other content, not only the form, and on that tab form display was correct. There is no difference between standard Descripción tab and your custom tab (both generated by WooCommerce, our plugin just defines another tab, WooCommerce displays it but do not apply any CSS or HTML settings).
    • Please see Contact Form 7 settings, if you have parameters about field width, please try to change it (ig. a fix width)
    • Maybe try to activate another style, to see if the problem still exists? So the problem depend on the style or not?

One more interesting behavior of Contact Form 7 on your site: if I right click on a field and chose “Inspect element” menu in Chrome, the form will be displayed perfectly. You may ask the reason of it from Contact Form 7 support also. (See the 3. attached screenshot – goandweb3.png)

So this problem seems to be in connection with Contact Form, please ask them, try out the ideas above (especially the first).

If you have more questions, or if have have the answer of Contact Form support, please let us know and do not hesitate to contact us.
