When I install the plugin on a multisite, the home site search works but the subsites do not. The search on the subsites will not bring up a results page, and just return to the page you searched from. I was wondering if this is a known issue and if there was any way to utilize the plugin on multisites?
You can define the sites in https://cse.google.com that you need to search.
Please check the „Setup / Basics / Site to search” section whether all of your sites are registered there.Thank you for the quick response!
Just confirmed that all sites are registered on CSE. I’m still having a problem – when I search on the subsites it doesn’t bring up any results page – so if I’m on cityoforlando.net/parking and I search parking, I dont get http://www.cityoforlando.net/parking/search_gcse/?q=parking, I get http://www.cityoforlando.net/parking/?q=parking with no results, just bringing me back to the page I searched on.
Actually figured it out – the plugin was network activated, which generated an invalid link on the subsites. Works properly when the plugin is activated individually on each site.
